Prima Equestrian is a premier boarding, training and breeding facility conveniently situated directly north of Toronto, Ontario in what is considered Canada’s finest horse country. We are centrally located only 35 minutes from downtown Toronto as well as Canada’s largest airport, Pearson International.
Nestled on over 50 rolling acres, our property features a unique atmosphere with breathtaking views and meticulous landscaping. We offer a full service purpose built training facility which is home to our award winning KWPN breeding program specializing in sport horses for the dressage, jumper and hunter markets. Carefully selected for the distinct value each brings to our breeding program, our mares offer some of the most sought after and successful KWPN bloodlines available today. When selecting a mare to join our breeding program, temperament is always our first consideration in conjunction with performance ability and pedigree.
It is our goal to produce horses for both amateur and professional riders. Each year we are pleased to offer our foals for sale and enjoy working with our customers to facilitate a pleasurable and trouble-free experience. Our bloodlines are so special that quite often customers request to purchase in-utero or sex specific, we can accommodate most requests with the exception that demand usually outweighs foals available.
In partnership with VDL Stud in Holland, we are pleased to carry a large selection of frozen semen offering over 30 of the worlds leading KWPN dressage and jumping stallions in stock to select from.
