Empress Chin’s dam is our super star KWPN ‘Keur’ mare Pepita-S who is by the outstanding KWPN stallion Emilion ‘Keur’. Pepita has proven to be an incredible producer with no less than three of her Indoctro offspring finishing the 2007 KWPN-NA Keuring Tour on the prestigious KWPN-NA Top-Five list.
Emilion jumped at the highest level, his offspring are equally as successful competing in Grand Prix and World Cup classes all over the world. One of his most famous offspring is Glasgow who with his rider Normal Della Jojo completed for years at the highest International level and won several World Cups and Grand Prix such as; the CN Reliability Grand Prix of Canada three times and was crowned the ‘USA Horse of the Year’.
Emilion approved sons VDL Emmerton, VDL Sarantos, and VDL Empire are busy with very impressive International jumping careers. VDL Emmerton is the reigning Dutch Jumping Champion and placed high in many Grand Prix competitions. VDL Sarantos who just happens to be the full blood sibling to our Pepita-S Keur, won the Grand Prix of Amsterdam and the Grand Prix for Young Riders in Reims. VDL Empire has placed high in several Grand Prix and was the Scandinavian Champion twice.
The legendary and remarkable Chin Chin is the sire of Empress Chin P. Chin Chin had a very impressive jumping career. Together with his former owner and rider, Jaime Azcarraga from Mexico, this combination participated for more than five years at international level. In 1988 Jaime Azcarraga won five consecutive times in the North American League on the World Cup circuit and competed in Seoul at the Olympic Games where they placed sixth individually. Four years later, they competed again at the Olympics in Barcelona. In 1990, Chin Chin and Jaime Azcarraga started in the first edition of the World Equestrian Games in Stockholm. In 1989 and 1990, they were placed in the final of the World Cup in both Dortmund and Tampa.
