Her dam, Uropa P, is a daughter of the ‘Preferent’ stallion Flemmingh who needs little introduction. Uropa’s 2008 filly by Indoctro, Dabatsa P, was honoured with a placing on the prestigious KWPN-NA Top-Fives List. This mare line is a great one with offspring competing in Pavo Cup. Grand-dam Jabatsa was a ‘Keur’ mare by the stallion Purioso and great grand-dam, Abatsa, is a ‘Ster, Preferent, Prestatie’ mare by the ‘Preferent’ stallion Roemer.
Fabatsa’s sire is the prolific show jumping stallion Chin Chin and she is one of only two Chin Chin foals to be born in Canada this year! Chin Chin and his former owner and rider, Jaime Azcarraga from Mexico, participated for more than five years at International level. In 1988 Jaime Azcarraga won five consecutive times in the North American League on the World Cup circuit and competed in Seoul at the Olympic Games where they placed sixth individually. Four years later, they competed again at the Olympics in Barcelona. In 1990, Chin Chin and Jaime Azcarraga started in the first edition of the World Equestrian Games in Stockholm. In 1989 and 1990, they were placed in the final of the World Cup in both Dortmund and Tampa.
