Description:

An exuberant bundle of joy with endless energy Glowstick P is an incredible well developed colt with great potential!

Blessed with a strong presence, beautiful markings and a pretty chiselled head Glowstick inherited the best show jumping genes.

The dam line of Glowstick (Holstein stamm 2578) produces strong performers for the international arena! Dam Rolanda is an imported KWPN ‘Elite’ mare sired by Olympic Ahorn who brings the famous Holsteiner lineage 242, which is distinguished by producing top international show jumpers.

Rolanda is also dam to the magnificent Bambino Chin P [Chin Chin x Olympic Ahorn x Lord Calando]. As a yearling, Bambino was the Reserve Champion KWPN Yearling Jumper. At the age of two, Bambino was awarded Champion KWPN Two-Year Old Jumper for North America passing the first round of the KWPN stallion selection process. When presented to the jury as a three year old Bambino received the ‘Ster’ predicate!

Rolanda’s sire Ahorn competed at top International level consistently placed in World Cups and Grand Prix competitions representing the Netherlands in Nations Cup competitions and was short-listed for the Barcelona Olympics, which earned him the prefix 'Olympic'.

The sire of Glowstick is the 2005 Oldenburg silver medallist, Balou du Rouet who is one of the best German horses of his age group. Equipped with maximum elasticity in his gaits, he completed an excellent Stallion Performance Test awarded with the top marks of 9.5 and 10.0 for jumping by the ‘foreign’ judges. He has continued his sporting career in supreme style, winning several classes judged on style and ability up to “M level”. He won the final qualification at the German Young Horse Championships with the top score of 9.2 and in the final was one of the four best approved stallions in Germany.

Glowstick’s grandsire Baloubet du Rouet, was one of the most successful jumping stallions on the international stage earning an Individual Gold Medallist at the 2004 Olympic Games in Athens, three-times World Cup Champion in a row and winner of many Grand Prix’s. Great grandsire Galoubet is son of the great stallion Almé.

On the dam’s side, Balou du Rouet is directly related to the founder of the bloodline “Cor de la Bryere” from Holstein through Rantzau. The similarity can be seen in Balou du Rouet’s jumping style and ability. His stunning dam Georgia is by the increasingly popular Contender son, Continue. Once again, Balou du Rouet emphasises his dominant quality as a producer in type, elegance and movement with numerous foals at many different auctions. His first crop of youngsters confirmed their quality at the approvals; one of his sons out of a Sandro mare was the most expensive premium stallion at the Oldenburg Approvals in Vechta.

Glowstick is an elegant correct modern type with long lines, powerful hindquarters and an impressive top-line. He is light-footed with a scopey uphill canter and elastic gaits but best of all is his super easy going love of life personality, he is a favourite of everyone who meets him!

If you are looking for a top prospect for the big ring Glowstick P is the one for you!
