Tenerife is bred out a sound and proven dam and sire lines. His sire, Raphael, who is one of Hannovers and Germans best producers, is
the sire of many international jump horses and approved stallions like: Ramina, Ralph, Robinson, Mill Creek, Raphael, Radiator and
Rüter. The sires Ahorn, Lucky Boy xx and Farn belong to the best producers of the KWPN and they are the guarantee for quality. These
stallions have produced: Nimmerdor, The Freak and Geneve to name a few.
Tenerife comes from the famous Loma-line, which is a guarantee for good sport horses and good conformation. In this line we find the
national champion mares Toloma and Doloma and a lot of international jumping horses such as: VDL Jupiter, US Neopolitan, Zippo,
Tinello Nevada, and more. His dame, Opera, is a beautiful ‘Ster’ mare and daughter of the famous ‘Keur, Preferent Prestatie’ mare
Boloma. She produced several horses that jump in 1.30m or 1.40m classes. Then we find the ‘Preferent Prestatie’ mare Oloma and the ‘Keur,
Preferent Prestatie’ mare Eloma.
Tenerife became titled ‘Best Future Stallion’ at Zwolle and was the 2006 Champion of the 1.20m Stallion Competition and the overall
winner in the final ranking.
