Wittinger’s sire Indoctro is known in the whole world as a producer of jumping horses, he is in the top ten of world's best jumper producers. The dam of Wittinger, the 'Keur Preferent'mare Irusa, has done by herself a very good mare test displaying a fantastic canter and jumped with high marks. Wittinger’s dam line has also brought the stallion Vyruso H, who is selected for the KWPN Stallion test. Grand dam, Carusa, is a full sister to the International jumper and approved stallion Grand Star. She is also mother of the 1.30 m jumper Porusa H and she is grandmother of the international jumper Kimber.
Wittinger is a well developed stallion with a powerfull canter. Wittinger jumps with a lot of reflex, is careful and shows a lot of scope.
