Hermitage

Hermitage is the fifth son of the world famous Zirocco Blue approved KWPN. Jur Vrieling rode Zirocco Blue to the team gold medal at the European Championships in Aachen and individual fifth place. In breeding the Mr. Blue-son also fantastic including Isah Cup winner and KWPN-approved son Florian, the suited evolving Durango VDL and many great talents that knock on the door towards the international show jumping. Hermitage’s grandfather and great-grandfather Colino Landon both jumped at international level and add the German top blood of Capitol I and Landgraf to his lineage.

Mother is the keur preferent prestatie mare Ostara. At the mare test she scored mere 8’s on all the jumping elements, while she spent several successful jumpers. Grandmother Karina jumped at 1.30 m level.

As usual with descendants of Zirocco Blue Hermitage stands out for its unlimited power. The imposing and enormous jumping ability, which he combines with excellent reflexes.

Hermitage scored 82½ points in the KWPN performance test with 8½’ for technique, ability and potential as a jumper. He also earned Hermitage 8s for his powerful canter, fast reflexes and fine rideability and attitude.
