Lineage & Progeny:
A very well-bred Holsteiner, Cardento, comes from a proven sire line, that has produced many top horses such as: Carthago, Cento, Sandro and Loreana. His dam line, Holsteiner stamm
#741, produces strong performers including: Cardenio, Ollipop and Classido.
Cardento has successfully competed in international competitions with many top finishes including at age seven: 1st in two National 1.50m competitions, 5th at the Swedish championships at 1.50-1.60m. At age eight, Cardento won six Grand Prix’s including Gera, Helsingborg, Holte, Angelholm and took 2nd place in Arhus. He also won two Nations Cup competitions in Rome and Ikast. Cardento received 6th place in the qualification of the World Cup finals in Gotenborg , 4th place in the German Classics of Hannover and 6th place in the Grand Prix of Stockholm.
During the European Championship in Arnhem, Cardento performed every day at the highest level and finished 15th in the individual finals. He also won the Silver Medal with the Swedish team.

At the World Equestrian Games 2002 in Jerez, he received the 13th place in the individuals and again won the Silver Medal with the Swedish team.
In 2004 at the Athens Olympic Games, Cardento helped the Swedish team win another Silver Medal.
His first offspring excel in jumping. They are striking in power, scope and technique. In 2004, his daughter Classic Lady became Champion of the Swedish Championship for 5-years old jumping horses and in 2005 she was 2nd in the Championship for the 6-years old horses. In 2004, Cardento’s son Captain became reserve Champion of the 7-year olds at the CSI of Helsinki. At the CSI Mechelen 2003, a 2-years old mare became Champion of the Free jumping competition.
In 2005, there were two offspring by Cardento out of seven in the 3 year old jumper division. In the Championship of the 5-years old horses, the Cardento daughter, Cardzilla, placed 4th. An outstanding 18% of the competitors at the Swedish Championships had Cardento as their sire. For this, Cardento received the Breeders Trophy for being the best Swedish breeding stallion that year. Four years in a row, Cardento sired the Champion of the three year old Jumping Champion of Sweden. Cardento has also sired several approved stallions in Sweden.
In 2006, Cardento was awarded the prestigious title ‘Elite’.
